Daniel grew up in Berlin, watched the Wall come down, then went to college in England and graduate school in the U.S. and Canada. He has moved around the world as an itinerant university teacher ever since, including stints in Singapore and Bhutan, and half-year interludes in Brussels, Barcelona, and Peru. Some time ago he found a happy home at Thailand's premier liberal arts college, where he now teaches a delightfully mixed bag of philosophy, history, and economics. This is his twentieth year on the Path.
